The Church of Nuestra Señora de la Merced is a religious building in Peru that was built by Fray Miguel de Orenes in 1535, taking as titular the Archangel San Miguel. It is located in the block 6 of the Jiron de la Union, in the Historic Center of Lima.

The Main Square of Lima or Plaza de Armas of Lima, is the foundational site of the city of Lima, capital of Peru. It is the main public space of the city. It is located in the historic center of Lima, around it rise soberly the Government Palace of Peru, the Cathedral of Lima, the Church of Sagrario, the Archbishop's Palace of Lima, the Municipal Palace of Lima and the Club de la Union. The Municipality and the Cathedral face to face testify to the seal of the Hispanic line.
